B. 1983, Connecticut Meghan Tomeo is a video and multimedia artist, as well as an independent multimedia designer. She earned her BFA at Massachusetts College of Art in 2005 and is a recipient of the Massachusetts Cultural Council artist grant in 2007. Her videos utilize methods of compositing, performance, graphics and drawn elements. She mixes low-fi aesthetics, quirky motion-graphics, and audio samples in a careful arrangement of layered meanings and speculations. She is interested in communicating the significance of small moments and private revelations through video, drawing, digital collage, photo, and web-art. She currently lives and works in Brooklyn, NY.
